"Hello! My name is Cristina and I come from the sunny and lovely south of Spain, although I have been living in the UK for the past 5 years. I am often asked why I moved to the UK from a sunnier part of the world, and my reply is that I love living in such a multicultural country and benefiting from all the opportunities such multiculturalism brings.

I speak fluent English and Spanish and I also speak French and some Russian. I have travelled extensively, visited almost all continents and I have friends in all four corners of the globe!

I love meeting new people and getting to know different cultures and the best way to do that is being able to communicate in the language spoken in those countries. That is why I decided to study languages at University. I did my first degree in Translation and Interpreting Studies at the Universidad de Granada in Spain and then came to the UK to complete a Bachelor in Applied Languages and do my postgraduate studies, also in Translation.

Experiencing life as an international student, not only in the UK, but also in Russia, has put me in a position to understand the needs of international students first hand. Having also worked in various roles in the education industry during the past 5 years has made me value even more the importance of a good education. So with my personal and professional experience I will aim to give you the best possible advice about your future studies.
