Grades achieved: AAAB (Biology, Maths, Psychology & Sociology)
Secured a place to study Psychology at University College London

Yi Fen Tan, 19, from Malaysia, has an ambition to be a Psychologist as she believes that she is good at helping people.

To that end she joined Bellerbys in Brighton in January 2008 to follow a five-term A Level course studying Biology, Maths, Psychology and Sociology.

She achieved grades AAAB in her final A Level examinations and will now go on to University College, London to read for a degree in Psychology.  After her degree she wishes to do further studies in developmental Psychology.

'Yi Fen is phenomenally hard working and very clever.  She will make a very good Psychologist.' was the opinion of Suzanne Lively, Head of the Psychology Department at Bellerbys Brighton.

Yi Fen is a keen musician who plays a range of instruments including the violin and the piano.

'I am really looking forward to studying in London at UCL - I find Psychology an absolutely fascinating subject,' she observed.
