Chris Hovell

“I am Deputy Academic Director for Bellerbys London and have responsibility for the Foundation, Diploma and MQP Programmes.  I like the responsibility of organising and managing these programmes and it is a pleasure to see students come to Bellerbys and then progress to top universities.

My academic subject is Accounting and Finance, an increasingly popular subject these days.  I recently completed my Masters with a distinction.  Finance is a very practical area of study and one which students generally enjoy.

Bellerbys College is a relaxed and friendly environment for staff and students.  Part of my job is to help create that academic atmosphere.

Outside of work I enjoy the theatre and music concerts, particularly jazz.  I have seen in recent years McCoy Tyner, Ornette Coleman, Lou Donaldson, Herbie Hancock, Gil Scott-Heron and many other jazz greats in concert.  I have also built up a great collection of original jazz vinyl.  Aside from this I am happy living in London and spending time with family and friends.”
